Like way back then

Last Sunday, I decided to go back to Buskett (the location where I shot this: [link] ) reason being to improve. After reviewing my photos from the last outing and giving them some critique, I set a number of goals to reach so I can improve my work. The critique I received from here and FlickR also helped a lot! In between, exactly last week actually, I went to shoot some sea scapes too. So you can expect one or two shots.

For this shot, I used an infrared filter (Hoya R72) so I could get more contrast in the foliage and in the same time, open more creative possibilities for me. Due to the very low position I was in, I used the live view feature of the camera so I could make sure I got the focus spot on and the composition was good, with no parts left out or with some intrusions. Obviously, the camera was mounted on a tripod.
